Well...it's been nearly an year, and we are preparing to make the return trip to Russia! The team is set, and our travel dates are November 2-12, 2011.
We have 5 that are pros, and 2 newbies! We extend a HUGE welcome to Amy Bartlett (who will be meeting her Russian friend for the first time) and Shawn Franssens! Returning are: Melanie Adams, Gina Harris (after a year hiatus), Kathy Carter, Lindsay Evans & me!
I was watching the presentation DVD at the Connecting Fair today, and it made me homesick for my Russia friends. If you are like me, you've been so busy that you've barely thought about the orphanage in the past several months. We won't even go into the letter writing...but now is the time to renew, build onto and make an concerted effort to strengthen your relationship with your Russian friend. If you don't have one of the kids that you write or sponsor, please let me know and we can match you with a name since we still have a couple unsponsored as well as some inevitable new ones this fall!
